General information on data protection

The Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 27 April 2016, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter GDPR), applicable from 25 May 2018, establishes the rules relating to the protection of the fundamental rights and freedoms of natural persons with regard to the processing of their personal data.

The Organic Law 3/2018, of 5 December, on the Protection of Personal Data and guarantee of digital rights, which was approved in order to adapt Spanish law to the GDPR.

Personal data is any information that allows a natural person to be identified or made identifiable, such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or one or more elements specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, cultural or social identity of the person.

The GDPR introduces, among its principles, the principle of transparency of the information provided to data subjects. In compliance with this principle, the following information is made available to data subjects.

Purpose of processing
